Rocky Point Mexico is an old fishing village that is evolving into a flourishing resort town about an hour drive over the Mexican border. Rocky Point offers many activities including great fishing, parasailing, jet skiing, scuba diving as well as ATV rentals just to name a few, but the main attraction is lounging on the picturesque beaches of Puerto Penasco, Sonora. Casa de Azul is a lavish Mexican vacation rental home located on "Encanto (Enchanted) Beach" in the gated community of Playa la Jolla. Overlooking Encanto Beach and the Sea of Cortez, Playa la Jolla offers a large resort style outdoor pool, kiddy pool and grass hut gazebos - for those not brave enough to enter the sea. And for the physically active, renters are invited to use the community’s tennis court, located next to the pool. So don't leave your tennis racket behind! Need more tempting? Look at these pictures of the fun you can have!Because Playa La Jolla’s beach slopes very gently, and far out into the Sea of Cortez, its waters remain safe and "totally fun" for children of all ages. For you seashell hunters, the sea brings in a fresh batch of seashells every morning and other treasures including sand dollars and the occasional whalebone for your hunting pleasures. (Be advised, it is illegal to take whalebones out of Mexico.) Be sure to view each sunrise and sunset over the beach from our "Margarita Deck." The sunrises and sunsets create a visual sensation that will sear into your memory forever. For the leisure hounds, we have a TV with satellite service, VCRs, DVDs, CD Player and an indoor/outdoor stereo in the entertainment center, all of which are destined to remain neglected as long the beach remains right outside our back door. Leave the main meal preparations and clean up in the very capable hands of "Nena" our wonderful maid who is a mystic with Mexican and Seafood cuisine. Relax in Luxury
